Alrite now, for the last few months I have been waiting for Marvels Runaways: Rock Zombies to be released where I am
And today before I started my shift at work i walked down to the comic book store on Cuba st. and saw it sitting on the shelf.
Needless to say I was excited... and then swiftly disapointed
Now I love Runaways. It is by far my favourite Marvel series.
So when I read Runaways: Dead Wrong I was a little wierded out by the massive art style change. But it was original and well done so I adapted and enjoyed it throughly
But when I picked up Rock Zombies, I was shocked by the crappiness of the artwork inside. Proportions were off, it looked like something I could have drawn
And they basically said fuck it to any kind of character development at all, turning the whole thing into a series of extended comic strips.
Wellthey did toss in one little piece of character development, but I found it to be utterly negative in every aspect.

Spoiler ahead so if you havnt read it yet... read on anyways because you shouldnt have to subject yourself to the crap inside

Karolina and Niko are walking down the beach holding hands. Xavin has pretty much just left, to save Karolina's life I might add and Niko wastes absolutely no time moving in on Karolina.
Now to be fair, Karolina has had the hots for Niko since the begining of the series and Niko has gradually been coming to terms with the fact that she's attracted to Karolina.
But Karolina has a fiance, who loves her enough to go to what could very likely be her own death in her place. Now I've always liked Karolina, shes a cool, very moral, very upright chick (plus shes a hot lesbian and that is always good) and I don't think anyone could be so cold as to run straight into the arms of the girl who's been pretty much bitching at her departed fiance ever since she showed up.

So basically, Rock Zombies sucks, they'll probly discontinue the series now and one of my favourite comics will die. FUCK!!!!!
